जिस तरह से हम सब का नाम हर भाषा हर शैली मे एक समान रहता है और हम ये भी नही चाहते की हमे कोई किसी और नाम से बुलाए, तो फिर देश के नाम के साथ समझौता क्यों | ज़रा सोच के देखिए इस विषय मे और आप पाएँगे कि यह विचार सोचने और कुछ करने लायक है | हमारे इस ब्लॉग का मकसद यह है की हम सब मिलकर अपने देश का नाम हर भाषा मे 'भारत' करवायें |

BHARAT OR INDIA?

What is today called India, is actually the last vestige of the old Bharata empire. In vedic times, which the Veda itslef describes in terms of 4 million years duration, the entire planet was called Bharat and was ruled by a single emperor. Its centre is found in the Indian peninsula, where modern India is situated. Bharat was the landmass which others call Pangea, or Lemuria and which modern science has confirmed as originally being one landmass, which through “continental drift” has been separated into the present 7 continents.

Bharat and its history has been told in the Mahabharata, the largest epic ever written on the surface of the earth. It is seven times as long as the Iliad and the Odyssee combined. The puranas (literally old) describe specific periods in the long history of our planet and the Bhagavat Purana describes the present cycle of 4.328.000 years, or a maha-yuga. All the puranas describe the entire earth as Bharatavarsa, and so the name of what is now called India, is actually properly named Bharat.

Bharat was the largest empire ever known to man and formed the cradle of civilisation. Most other civilisations on the different continents are simply watered down versions of the original Bharata civilisation. For instance the Maya and Inca civilisations have been directly derived from the Bharata civilisation, as told by those people themselves. Modern scholars acknowledge this too.

The Indus valley civilisation was not separate from the Ganges valley civilisation. The names of the cities are directly derived from the sanskrit. Mohendrodaro means literally “the city of Indra on the river.” Mohendro is “Maha-Indra” and daro is “on the river”. Similarly, Harappa means the city of the self-manifest deity of Hari or Hari-yupaya. Sutkagendor, comes from sutkaga or “basket weaver” or also reed, while dor comes from dara, “on the river”. Thus the name of the city depicts what was happening there. Sutkagen is situated in the south of the Indus Valley, and was formerly in a swampy wetland where reed grew abundantly.

In the Ganges valley, the city of Delhi was called Indraprastra and the suburbs were named after the main activities there. The walls of the Pandava palace can still be found today. Modern scholars have been taught that the vedic civilisation was Indo-European, as if the inhabitants of Europe brought civilisation to Bharat. This fallacy is perpetuated to this very day, while none of the esteemed scholars can point to any place on the world map, where that civilisation found its origin, except in Bharat itself.

Moreover, they have falsified the dates of origin, which they place at 1600-1800 BC, an arbitrary date, which is contradicted by the Veda. The Veda, apart from being a body of knowledge, as its name implies, is also the historical record of Bharata-varsa. 5000 years ago, Bharata-varsa still covered most of the world beginning at the Bosporus and stretching as far east as Java and Bali, while also including the entire east African region, from Egypt to Capetown. Of course modern scholars refuse to accept the Veda as authentic and dismiss it as mythology, notwithstanding the fact that most of its content has been unearthed as factual cities, countries and regions, including the people that lived there. Many names are still the same today. Kampuchea is modern-day Cambodia and Syam is modern-day Thailand. In Vietnam, the river Mekong means Ma Ganga and in Thailand the city of Ayuttaya is the equivalent of Ayodhya in Bharat itself.

The name India, given to Bharat by the British is actually a bastardised version of an Arab word. Some 400 years ago, the Arabs began their conquest of the lands further east to subdue them to Islam. On coming to the Indus river, they named the people living east of it the sindhus, because the Arab language does not have the I at the beginning of any word. Thus the word Hindu came into being, which the British changed to India, which is merely a designation for the tract of land east of the Indus river and has nothing to do with the reality of Bharata-varsa.

It is now high time the Bharati people begin to identify their country as Bharat and no longer succumb to the name the british gave it. After all, if a city like Mumbai can be renamed, and if Kolkata (Kali-ghat actually) can be renamed to erase the memory of British rule, it is at least strange to keep the name of the country as India, while reality demands it is called Bharat.
